Puncak Alam, April 20 - Eco World Development Group Berhad (EWDG) signed two Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) today with Brainy Bunch International IslamicMontessori (Brainy Bunch). The MOUs are for the purchase of land – one in Eco Grandeur, Shah Alam and another in Eco Tropics, Iskandar Malaysia.
The plan is for Brainy Bunch to develop and operate an International School Campus in Eco Grandeur and develop and operate a Montessori Kindergarten Campus in Eco Tropics.
Datuk Chang Khim Wah, President and CEO of Eco World Development Group Berhad said: “We are excited to be working on this new collaboration with Brainy Bunch to provide high quality education to our community as well as the surrounding communities in two of EcoWorld’s largest townships.”
Founded in 2010, Brainy Bunch has seen remarkable growth in just a short span of six years and operates 73 pre-school campuses nationwide. It also has an Elementary/high-school campus in Putra Heights, two schools in Singapore, one in Indonesia and a charity school in Gaza. With a total student population of over 6,000 Brainy Bunch is the largest and fastest growing Islamic Montessori school in Malaysia. It is also the only Elementary Montessori school in South East Asia with Cambridge International Primary Programme & North America Montessori Center.
The International School Campus in Eco Grandeur will be the first in the vicinity that caters to both primary and secondary students.
Spanning over 1,400 acres, Eco Grandeur is a leasehold mixed development township which will be developed in tandem with Eco Business Park V, the Group’s first gated & guarded green business park in the Klang Valley. The combined gross development value of the projects is RM15 billion.
In Eco Tropics, Brainy Bunch will be purchasing land to develop and operate a Montessori Kindergarten Campus in EcoWorld’s RM5.4 billion mixed-township known for homes that are inspired by the timeless architecture of The Hamptons resort on Long Island, New York.
“Our efforts to improve the Kota Masai locale have had a positive impact on the neighbourhood’s image and property values. With the completion of the 33-acre West Lake Gardens town park in January, Brainy Bunch’s entry to Eco Tropics is very timely and in line with our mission of creating world-class eco living in all our developments,” said Chang.
