Eastspring Investments Berhad last week announced the launch of the Eastspring Investments Islamic Small-cap Fund. This is a Shariah-compliant equity fund that provides another option to diversify into small-cap stocks which can potentially enhance portfolio returns in the long-run.
The initial offer period for the Fund runs for a period of twenty-one (21) days commencing from 25 May 2017 and closing on 14 June 2017.
Beijing, May 16 - Bursa Malaysia Bhd signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Shanghai Stock Exchange to explore potential ways for the two exchanges to improve their visibility and accessibility to market participants in Malaysia and China.
“This MoU further strengthens the already strong cooperation between our exchanges. China, undoubtedly, remains an important market in the region, if not globally. There are many Chinese investors looking for investing opportunities beyond China, particularly in ASEAN countries,” says Datuk Seri Tajuddin Atan, Bursa Malaysia Chief Executive Officer.
Kuala Lumpur, May 9 - Malaysia’s capital market remains open to all foreign companies wanting to list on Bursa Malaysia, said Securities Commission (SC) chairman Tan Sri Ranjit Ajit Singh.
“We’ve always allowed foreign listings in Malaysia. The guidelines and approaches are there,” he said in response to a question on the SC’’s efforts at luring foreign companies, apart from China, to list on Bursa Malaysia.
